I like listening to Don Taylor a few times a week. Plus love watching radio on Sportsnet @ 12:00 AM.

Monday(Tuesday IF YOU WILL) after the 25 minuites of the show. 1040 goes to commercial when they return the show starts to repeat itself. I would say from after the HIGH FIVE. Now I'm staying up late do I really want to listen to the same dialogue I just heard for the last 15 min plus.. I'm not sure what happened cut the film wrong or master control re winded to far back. I do beleive the show starts recording at 3:00 PM. It really pissed me off so I just turned the show off.

Tonight the first 10 minutes they spoke entertainment and that's FROM the non sports world. I just turned it off again. I want to hear callers, commentary not crab babble.

I did catch Hardcore radio/TV on 54. I believe it comes off satellite radio and thought it was very entertaining. They had 3 hosts one being female nice studio digs as well.

Tuned out !

Pratt has stated many times he considers it an entertainment show too. I have no idea why. I find it a pain as well, if I tune in its for talk about sports, I'm really not interested in which young actress Pratt is currently panting for, hearing P&T's opinions about tv shows, popular music, porn, etc.
Last I checked, Pratt, (i.e. just now) the station billed itself as Team 1040 Sports Radio. People tune in to hear/ talk sports.

Your points are valid. It's really a turn off factor or tuned out. After all the show biz stuff he starts the same babble of the who's/who in sport. It takes 50 min to get the show going then the hour is up on TV.

Pratt always pulls the info on sport news from TSN. If I was Sportsnet he would not be allowed to say this from TSN AS HE DOES ALWAYS ON the Sportsnret hour. I can see Taylor cringing. Taylor only works 2 hours.

Ya, kind of like tuning in to your fav radio station to listen to music and get long winded details of some DJ's night out, or tuning in to the TV newscast for the latest news, only to hear about Brittney's latest "whatever"? I like that they venture off into areas other than sports, I mean really, who wants to hear the same old stuff over and over, like how many times can the validity of the "C" on Naslunds sweater be discussed?

Know what you mean. I don't mind the talk briefly drifting into other areas, but when Pratt starts slobbering about someone of the opposite sex, he makes me squeamish. He's sooooo oily.
