CBC Shuffles Management


The CBC today completed a management shuffle which more closely integrates its radio, television and digital divisions.

A reorganization of the news division, brings programming for radio, television, Newsworld and http://www.cbc.ca under the responsibility of one person.

Effective immediately, Jennifer McGuire, Executive Director of English Radio, is appointed to the position of Executive Director of News Programming and deputy head of news for all services.

Todd Spencer, formerly of CNN's Asia bureau, has been named Executive Director of News Content, while Fred Mattocks will leave his role overseeing the regions to focus on production and resources for radio and television.

Richard Stursberg, Executive Vice-President of English Services, says the goal is to place greater focus on content rather than individual services
