Man runs radio commercial to divorce his long-gone wife Canwest News Service Friday, February 08, 2008 VANCOUVER -- A Winnipeg man has taken an unusual step in a bid to end his marriage. Thomas Dean Kane is running a commercial on Vancouver talk radio station CKNW pleading for information about his long-lost wife -- so they can split for good. "Here is a man looking for a divorce," the ad runs. "Thomas Dean Kane was married to Georgia Celia Paisley, on Dec. 17, 1989, in Vancouver, B.C." According to a report on CKNW's noon news, Kane lost touch with his wife after they separated in October 1990 and now wants to remarry. "If anyone knows the whereabouts of Georgia Celia Paisley, please advise her to get in touch with Thomas's lawyer within 10 days of this announcement," the ad continues. Kane's lawyer told CKNW his client has tried everything else to find Paisley, so a judge gave him permission to make his one-time plea. http://www.canada.com/victoriatimescolonist/news/story.html?id=4889ee3c-ab9f-4784-aee5-4ce192aacbe3 |
