I usually listen to the Bill Goode Show and the past couple weeks there have been a ton of on-air bloopers.  First off, they have a phone system that gives 'feedback', 'echo's', 'hisses' and does other things that you don't want when you use your phones a lot.  Today they left a phone line open while on a spot break, you could hear the girl talking away and just now someone opened up a mic while Rick Forchuk was doing his movie reviews and started talking to someone.  I can see the odd blooper but for the top rated station in the market sounds a little amateurish.

For more than a year now, they have missed so many throws to the traffic 'copter' they finally ditched the concept and plugged the traffic guy (Neil?) into the control. BTW I think he's doing a helluva job given the workload of morning and afternoon shifts.

The biggest problem was when they had the 730 traffic copter feeding three stations at once which has now stopped thankfully.

But still to your point, this is (was) a major market station and has degraded itself with dead air and missed throws to the point where I would be embarrassed to send out an air check if I was working there.

I understand the whole bloopers thing but saying Neil is doing a helluva job is not fair.  Yeah he works split shifts but so what, Kim Seal does as well over at the green and white.  And I don't think they have fixed the problem by having him there.  They need to fix whatever technically in the helicopter, and it should work all right.

Both Neil and Kim do bang-up jobs.

Your opinion "TV_ON_THE_RADIO could that be Neil himself??  I think that Kim does a bang up job but Neil is of sorts
