I went to Seattle yesterday morning about 6 and some chick was doing traffic, coming home I swear it was the same chick doing traffic about 11 last night.

I heard 730 tapes their traffic...but I was pretty sure 1130 didn't?!  

WX's traffic is NEVER taped. There was a situation on Sunday night. The evening traffic person came to work and was very ill. He shouldn't have come in at all. The traffic person from the morning shift was good enough to come in and fill in for the evening.

The morning shift person coming in to work on the evening shift.  I thought that was normal in radio.

I'm taped right now as I type this. This is a typed recording.

I'm playing drum rudiments on my chest as I report the latest, up-to-the-minute traffic conditions. Sounds like a real whirlybirdie, doncha think...?

Listening to 730 yesterday coming to town and was a little surprised to hear the anncr. comment that he was simply checking traffic cams and relaying that info to us.  It never dawned on me.  

I flipped over to get traffic on "WX only to hear the headlines that an extensive Cock Fighting Ring was busted.  Only the female anncr left out the word fighting.
