I think he is good at keeping the flow and the tempo but it felt a bit stiff and forced. That said it's tough to beam in and have that instant chemistry with your coworkers so better fillin than most. He's a better DJ than talk host. Good to have him back out west.
I remember Tom Jeffries from the 70s on 14 CFUN. WHAT A VOICE! It was CFUN he was on right? Or was it CKLG? I remember Tom Lucas (he visited my High School once), The Racoon, Doc Harris, Hollywood Stu Ferguson... what shift did Tom do? Wasn't it mid day?
Who else remembers the glory days of the 70s from CFUN and CKLG? I think each of those stations had more audience than 'NW has today, in an era when Vancouver had half of today's population! Everyone was listening to FUN or LG back then
