95Crave is wrapping up another successful Nat and Drew Foodbank FIllUp this afternoon.  For 4 days we've been at Safeways across Metro Vancouver collecting food for Foodbanks in Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond and Tri-Cities.

CFOX did their Santa Fox food drive. JR did Basics for Babies. Rogers did their breakfast. Rock 101 did 12 hours of giving. The Beat did their Cares events and toy drive. and on and on and on

This has been a week when ratings didnt matter.  It's been a week where radio reached out and touched hundreds of thousands of people.

Congrats to all the stations.  Next year I'd like to see us do a RADIO FEEDS THE CITY type of event.  All of us doing our thing at the same time hammering the awareness on every frequency, proving the power of the medium.

Feed the world.

ya know...i like that idea.  all the stations at one spot...creating massive awareness and hype.  i know it has some drawbacks, but it is a unique concept.   maybe teaming up for 1 in the city, and a week later 1 in the valley.  something like that.

the stations don't need to be at the same spot... just on the same mesage at the same time.

I'd love to see stations do something this big in the summer months as well.

What a great idea!  And I for one would really like to see and hear all the stations within arms length of each other, all working on a single drive.  The power of the medium!  Fantastic suggestion.
