What's the general opinion??? Personally, I like the new colours, and the old logo wasn't bad. |

I like it. I dig the Vancouver arched over the top. I was always a fan of the whale and I like the colours. If anything, maybe alittle *busy*? Lots going on with this jersey. Might make the road jersey say Vancouver and the home one have the whale logo'd "C." But I do believe a new Canucks sweater will need ot be on my Christmas list http://canucks.nhl.com/ |

I agree with Wink. Not a big fan of the whale at all. It reminds me way too much of John McCaw and his band of "boobs." |

I'm not disappointed with the new Jerseys. The Orca speaks to the westcoast, the Vancouver is an homage to the Vancouver Millionaires of the 30's, they got the token rink n stick logo, and the heritage colours. I'm surprised they didn't include a nod to the Holloween uniforms, but maybe those years never really happened. |

I like it. I've been a Canuck fan since I snuck into their games in the old Forum at the PNE back in 1961.This uniform speaks nicely of their heritage, the west coast and the province we love.
Now let's see how nicely they look combined with the Stanley Cup.

It's great to see the blue and green back. However, which logo do you see the true fans wearing?? The hockey stick logo. The Canucks goofed!! I had also heard that there was not going to be any horizontal stripes with the Reebok uniforms??? Love the look of the white jersey supplied by Flamethrower. That's what I was hoping for.

It's a decent logo. There's still lots of equity left in the orca logo--it would be foolish to trash it so soon.
The original rink/stick logo is wisely being retired for now, before it becomes too familiar. It's a classic design that will be brought out again from time to time. |

I was dissapointed wanted the white (johnny canuck) hockey stick jersey it's very clean plus simple. Taylor get on the 40 horn(holiday return) get the hockey stick jersey message out that the Canucks goofed. Canucks view is Whale new age , Johnny Canuck, old school. The new owners failed to put there own stamp on the team. I won't be buying one. http://canucks.nhl.com/ |

I thnk they are one of the worst, if not the worst, uniform in the league. The colours are fine, but in general, the uniform is too busy - the whale, as a symbol, is meaningless. It's an Orca, representative of the former owners. The lettering is absolutley ridiculous on a jersey in this day and age. People know the team is from Vancouver - I don't see the point.
Ownership had a chance to do something cool with the sweaters but they blew it big time and it comes across as nothing more than a money grab trying to get suckers to fork out $400 for it. After 40 years of losing, they can't even manage to design a decent uniform. Very poor effort...very typical. |

NHL Tournament of Logo's posted a couple of jerseys stating "it couldn't have been worse". Thought I would post some The first one is hilarious, the 2nd I don't think is any worse than the jerseys they unveiled, and the 3rd, well at least the flying V wouldn't be the ugliest jersey in the teams history anymore. |

Good God. I, along with everyone else in this country, am PRAYING that the Canucks win at least ONE cup (at some point). Just so there's something to discuss other than their yearly uniform/logo/costume change. By the way, these latest numbers are a little (a lot) too busy, but Canuck fan will lap it up and say "yes please" because it's all they have. |

After watching the Lions/Montreal game last night I was waiting for someone to bring up the MONTREAL on the front of the jersey in comparison to the new Vancouver Unies. Never really paid attention to those until now. |

Yup - I noticed the Al's uniform and it's probably the least impressive of the 8 teams in the league. I particularly noticed how classy the Lions uniforms were and wondered why the Canucks didn't try to do something simple and classic like the Leos.
Coffee Table - I doubt too many people outside of this market really waste much time thinking of the Canucks let alone praying they win a Cup. I agree that 'fans' here will lap up this latest offering. People in this market are Canuck fans, not hockey fans. They are on a bandwagon -they probably don't even know why - but as bandwagons go, this one is pretty ugly. |

"Naslund said today on 1040 that players like the "retro jersey" they are happy they brought in the green"
Aquilini is a fan of the Whale so what he says goes. Nothing beats the great style of Johnny Canuck jersey. Simple - styling, polished a real stand out don't care what anybody says it's not old school vs new it's a better look. The jersey is as modern today as it was in the past.
Next time.. |

Gotta say that 98% of the new jerseys in the NHL are a total downgrade on their predecessors...RBK has done a horrific...make that...HORRIFIC job with them.
That being said...the Canucks is growing on me...one of the few that isn't a complete embarassment (although i still think they'd be better without the wordmark on the chest)

AM 320, I have a feeling that in this market, the Canucks could skate out in burlap sacks and the fan(atic)s would be excited.
I strongly disagree with you - there are only 2-3 uniforms that are worse than their predecessors and this short list includes the Canucks. It's going to be tough watching the Canucks this year - in more ways than one. |

I Must say the Canucks is growing on me too. They look really sharp out on the ice. The "Vancouver" bit is all about Olympic souviners. I wish the price made it a little easier for a radio broadcaster to justify not eating for a week so he could buy one haha |

Does the hockey stick logo on the shoulder look a little different? Looks like a smaller rink (or "C") with a bigger stick in the middle. Say, that might have been nice on the front!! |

put the hockey stick logo on the front, maybe a silver version of the old "canucks" skate for shoulder patches and ditch the whale. for a 3rd jersey, MAYBE stencil the name Vancouver across the front a la Colorado or the Rangers. but i understand the 3rd jerseys are suspended for a year so they can hawk these new form-fitting jerseys... |

In this ridiculous market, it doesn't matter what the uniforms look like (or how bad the team is) - they will still sell like hotcakes. As WC Fields said - there's a sucker born every minute. |

I like it! At first it seemed so different and I was unsure, but now lookingat it again, I think it's grown on me. I think I am now in need of a new 'nucks jersey...
Who to get on the back though? I have Naslund and Luongo already.... |
