From page B8 in today's Victoria Times-Colonist.

Duchovny's series is sexy, saucy, smart

PREVIEW

What: Californication

When: Tonight at 10:30

Where: Showtime

As everyone knows, Showtime is a US cable channel not legally seen in Canada.  I understand it is widely available on grey-and-black market satellite systems.

In fact the paper should have promoted Californication as debuting at 10 pm tonight on Movie Central 1, the channel holding the legal Canadian rights.  Dana Gee's home paper The (Vancouver) Province got it right, at least on-line.

I suggested via e-mail to the T/C that perhaps the Satellite police should be raiding the editor's home!!?? LOL!

Or maybe they should stop ripping and minimally-rewriting from AP?

Ah yes the TC... yesterday's news, tomorrow! I often find stories showing up a day or two after you see them in the Province or orther papers.
