Hey Prairie Jock, thanks for the info...Renita and I traded a few emails yesterday.
It was nice to get back in touch.

Renita may be a beautiful, wonderful person but her read is off the charts annoying.  Instead of "tee vee" she says it more like "tee vay."  The end of all her sentences sounds very very affected.  Can't stand her.

Just listened to her demo.  She does the same thing with BC, instead of "bee see" it becomes "bee say".  

I happen to like her style.  Every image voice has their crutch and the fact she is constantly being hired for freelance work speaks volumes about what the majority of these stations want to hear.

Paris Hilton makes more than you and I combined too.  Salary is not related to talent.  I don't like her read and the size of her house, bank account or car is not going to change that opinion.

I think what Prariejock was trying to do was lighten up a critique of a successful voice over talent and remind people, that because "voice" doesn't dig her style, many people do... so who has the problem?

Thanks Flamethrower - exactly what I was trying to say.  She is indeed a success story.

"Voice" - maybe you should call or email Global and complain.  Would be nice to see some more positivity on here.

As for Paris Hilton - I don't believe Renita has been thrown in the slammer.  Apples and Oranges.
