Hey spiffiness, seems like you listen all the time from what you say about the overnight traffic and news readers. Not the AM and Afternoon drive shows you claim to tune into. And as far as I recall, 630 CHED has been doing headlines for years, as long as three years ago when I worked there.

So who is the 12 year old doing traffic for Corus in Calgary? Sounds like a cross between Mickey Mouse and some wierd cartoon.

Here ya go.  The "child" doing traffic on Corus is Sharney Peters.  I think she sounds more like Minnie than Mickey Mouse though

Not to change the topic too much but has anyone noticed how much 660 uses CTV stories?  Last night I was listening and four stories in a row had clips with "so-and-so tells CTV News..."  

And to go a step further on this does anyone think this might change with Rogers getting CityTV in Calgary?  And does anyone think that will affect how Spence does weather for 660?

660 has an agreement with CTV to use their stories, but it does raise a good point.  It all depends on if Rogers spends money on serious local news and do a bit of convergence with 660; if so then it makes sense to use Citytv as their source of information, which will impact David Spence.  Which would be too bad because he's worked quite well on 660 so far.  In Toronto I believe 680 has an agreement with Citytv to use their stories.  

Anybody know what happened to Christina Rosell and David Tait?  It just seems like forever since I have heard Christina do traffic.  



  

I was wondering the same thing spifiness.  I  am thinking Christina is on holidays, but will have to wait and see if shes back on Tuesday

I heard a couple of weeks ago that she was now off to have a baby.  Don't think she'll be back on Tuesday.
