Anyone know where these 3 fellas have ended up. All three at one time were together when Davidson started CKLQ radio in Brandon around 1975-76. Davidson ended up selling Q Country and bought into a station in Salmon Arm, Dennis went to Trail as a gm, Gordie Mac was a sports reporter in Brandon but I believe he reverted into news.

Anyone know?

Dennis went from KBS - Kootenay Broadcasting System (CJAT) Trail to Kelowna.
Then after a shake up there. Ended up back in the Kootenays at CKQR in 1997 (I think) which was owned by Sunshine Cable in Grand Forks.

CKQR was rebranded, BKR, Boundary Kootenay Radio, and included Nelson, Castlegar, Trail, Grand Forks, Greenwood and Rock Creek. After Sunshine sold BKR off, I gather Dennis "retired" to the Fraser Valley. Although I'm not sure Dennis could ever really retire.

Lets see, Gordy Mac, is still at CKNW as I ran into him while he was remoting at the PNE 07, he tells me Dennis is still in the Gar in the West Kootenays.

Dennis Gerein hasn't been in the West Kootenays since shortly after the Vista purchase of Castlegar, Grand Forks and Nelson.  Health problems forced his departure.   My usually reliable sources report he's now living in Alberta.

Workded with Dennins in Trail Kelowna and Castlegar..He will never retire..best damn radio guy ever..when computers came in..he used it as a flower pot holder..
