Standard Radio BC-Peace Group is looking for someone who can “Rock the Peace.”

The Bear 101.5 is one of four radio station and one television station making up Standard Radio’s BC Peace Group. The Bear is our  rock station targeting males 25-54.  If you can get our listeners up and going in the morning with the best rock and roll ever written we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities include:
-Hosting a morning radio show and all that entails.
-Commercial voice work, and voicing as assigned.
-Hosting remotes and connecting with clients and listeners.
-Attending community events on behalf of the station.
-Working with the Program Director to ensure formatics and regulations are adhered to.

Required skills and qualifications:
-Graduation from an accredited broadcast school.
-Prefer a minimum of two years experience as an announcer.
-A strong commitment to community involvement.
-A solid knowledge of Maestro and Music Master.
-An ability to work the phones and connect with the audience.
-An ability to work as a member of a team.
-A desire to be the best you can be each day.
-A valid class 5 BC driver's license (or equivalent) and a clean driving record.
