Perhaps they can't be bothered trying to hire on air staff who agree to live like college students.  Everyone living together in dorm rooms because the cost of living in Fort Mac is so out of sight not to mention the cost of everything else.  If you live in Fort Mac you better be making at least 50k bare minimum.

If they can't pay the staff that, then they shouldn't have applied for a licence.  Who else elsewhere who on-air doesn't live like a college student?

That said, to Mike and someone else's point, if you are going to VT and not pull the "Newfies doing radio in Newf-filled town bla, bla", do it from as local (in this case Lac La Biche, Lloyd or Edm) as possible. (YUCK)
