Enough of this circus QB crapp with the Lions: first Buck, now Jarious, then back to Buck, then Buck gets injured, then Jarious, then of course put in Zack Champion like he's gonna win a Grey Cup.
The Lions should not have told Dickenson to get lost. I realize there were some issues with Printers...
You put Printers in with the present Lions wide receivers and it would be a perfect fit with his mobility. Printers is wasting his time in Hamilton.
Printers isn't here, but Wally Buono sure as hell is.
One regular season loss does not make a season .. and last year's two substitutes for Dave D. did quite well when called upon .. and when not injured. Don't get me wrong; -- I think Dave D. can still play .. and so can Casey Printers .. but let's give everyone a chance to play a second game before calling for an airlift of players. Otherwise .. we will start looking like those in Edmonton who feel as if their world is ending because of missing the playoffs for a couple of years .. and for losing seven straight games in the past couple of years. Mind you .. another loss when the Eskies play host to Calgary this week .. and who knows what the reaction will be ????
clearskies, I hope you're not suffering from a little chemtrail fall-out...there seems to be an itchy trigger finger on the panic button already. But please not Casey again. Talented indeed. However, a disruptive force according to some insiders. I don't know, I'm not that close to the action, but if it was an ego problem, I wouldn't be too surprised since Printers always need ink I think the Lions will do extremely well this season. Maybe, it's just a little tougher to get a vetran laden team to come flying right out of the gate. That being said, it's no excuse for the Stinker at McMahon. This year the Grey Cup will come back home to the left coast where it belongs
too bad the same optimism was not expressed by those fans of ice without winter .. those who feel almost forever that the Canucks may actually get somewhere. ... by the way .. why has Mike Gillis not done more with the team during the recent spate of signings of free agents, etc ??? I ask simply because from east of the Rockies it seems like a team that needs much in the way of help .. but the front-office upheaval this spring has done little to make any major improvements (or so things seem right now) Are they out of 'cap' room ??? Do players want to play on the wet coast .. or do other problems stand in the way of making Vancouver a contender ???
who cares real football season dosen't start till Sept. Even Casey didn't want to play in the CFL he wanted a real football job.Lose the import rule change the missed field goal rule ( you missed that 45 yd attempt but you kicked it thru the end zone here is a point for trying so hard pftttttt yeah right) Change the schedule so that all games are played on the same night Friday night Football would be great and then a Saturday afternoon game so you knew exactly when CFL was on instead of having to check the tv listing to see when a game is on.Thursday, Friday Saturday Afternoon evening Sunday afternoon everning? I mean come on. The one thing I do say is that TV coverage of the CFl is getting way better instead of the 3 cameras that used to cover a game TSN and CBC have lots of Cameras covering from many differant vantage points.

CBC no longer broadcasts the CFL. TSN has exclusive rights. And what's wrong with having games on different nights? If they were all on the same day, it would be impossible to broadcast every game for each team, which is what is being done now.
Yeah cause all of us tune in to watch the Argonuts VS Tiger Cats suck! come on havin just one day where all games are played like the NFL model would make for better attendance and better TV.IMHO this is one of the major flaws of the CFL How do you make guys from Dawson Creek or 100 Mile House care that the Roughriders are takin on Montreal? You make it the game of the week the only CFL game you can watch and hype the hell out of it thats how!!! When all the games are on your going to only watch YOUR team and thats it.
