Pratt & Taylor away this week. Blake Price with the guest host  Alex Marvez NFL Writer for FOXSports.com

I wanted to say how refreshing Alex is to listen to on Team 1040 this week. Not sure why Taylor & Pratt always leave during prime time events for Vancouver. Away for the draft etc.

Just a side note on bad programming with imaging. How difficult would it be to create imaging for when those two are away. "Filling in this week on The Team 1040 is Blake Price & Akex Marvez from FOXSPORTS.COM "

I think it's unfair to say they leave during big events in Vancouver.  Perhaps it just seems like that since there are many weeks that are "big" for sports in the Lower Mainland?

I'm also enjoying listening to Alex Marvez on with Price in the afternoons. I admire the fact that when BC Lions players are being interviewed, Marvez goes to the trouble of posing a question or two of some substance to the player in question, rather than just blow it off because "it's not NFL". He seems to be trying to learn something about the CFL and actually sounds interested. As GoToBreak says, a refreshing change of pace.
