Anyone care to top this one? Bill Bradford, 87, has been continuously employed by the same radio station for 60 years.
Bradford ended his career as an Air Force Pilot to head KSST AM Sulphur Springs Texas Engineering on 1 May 1948 and now owns the place.
He is still trying to cut his work schedule to 60 hours a week.
Among other honors and awards, Bradford was TAB's Pioneer of the Year in 1992.
He was named to the Hall of Honor of the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2005.
He was Texas Conelrad and EBS Chairman for years and wrote the final version of "This is a Test, this is Only a Test."
He was doing a live report over a press fone to KSST from the Trade Mart Luncheon in Dallas when they announced to the group gathered there that Kennedy had been shot.
He still has the tape.
