An interesting book! A major hit to CFAUX @ #3??! WOW.
Except some major changes for CHTT down the road... If nothing happens, can only blame the lazy bean counters. One reason why JACK's ratings have gone down could be the loss of two major station personalities: Joelle (who moved across the street to KOOL) and Hugh (moved to the prairies).
The Jack Victoria numbers are probably in part that low due to a book technicality. That said, even if you factor in this book being too low, they can't be happy with at least 3 books now trending down.
Losing Hugh and Joelle is probably not the cause of the drop. While I'm sure they're good announcers, I've never considered the format to be announcer-driven and if it was announcer driven, that station had their morning show still there and hired a very good drive guy (have never heard him on that station but do remember him when he was in Calgary)
I wonder if somehow the Jack format is losing some of its lustre and perhaps the presence of Kool is slicing up some of the <35 females which provides a double whammy against the Jack station. Either way Rogers won't take this well and they'll come back firing
