How long can the z95 management just sit back and do absolutely nothing now that the ratings are out. The beat has taken over and now zed goes down more in every ratings book.

That's what you get when a radio station is following orders from back east.

Go corporate radio!
The Z Management does not follow orders from the East, as long as they show a good bottom line they do what they want. They are old school ego's who all have bonuses tied to the bottom line and have egos so big that they actually believe that auctioning off a low end (contra'd) Honda to a listener data base of 10,000 people with next to zero exterior advertising was going to take them to the ratings promise land. Z is full of good talent (1 primadonna), promotions, and sales people all held back by arrogance up top. Unfortunately with Astral 15 months away the egos will continue to run the ship and ruin more good people and chances to turn it around. It's really sad to see.
Yeah, there's a lot of that going around. I don't understand how people an ascend to such lofty positions and then screw everything up once they get there.
Full coverage numbers always favoured CBU in the past because of all the repeaters across the province. I know there's some local programming in Kelowna and Prince George, and CFPR has been a stand-alone for CBC in Prince Rupert for a very long time, but my guess is that CBU still gathers in those up-country numbers.

Another great book for The Beat. The change in evenings obviously didn't hurt them. Also looks like the Fred and Cathy comeback experiment is turning out as planned for Clear FM.
The change in evenings at the Beat happened mid-week of the last week of the spring book. The evening ratings are indicative of Craig Fee's ratings, not Holly Conway's.
Her ratings will be evident in the coming book (personally, I think evening ratings will go down....time will tell)
