I've just returned from Seattle, where the Radio Enthusiasts of Puget Sound put on their 16th Annual Showcase devoted to the preservation and celebration of Old Time Radio.

They managed to have in attendance, recreating some of the best remembered shows from the so-called "golden age," some of the folks who, in their youth, were part of the casts and regulars in the network studios of the day.
For fans of OTR these shows put on by REPS are treasure troves, and I'm ready & willing to share some of the highlights of the weekend experience ... if there are any OTR fans on the board.

Otherwise, I'll just be taking up space & bandwith.

Some of the shows celebrated this year were Vic & Sade, Fibber McGee & Molly, The Great Gildersleeve, Lights Out, Dimension X, My Friend Irma, Meet Corliss Archer, The Bickersons, and The Phil Harris-Alice Faye Show.

Oh, I thought you meant Micheal Landsburg's show?  Couldn't understand what they'd be celebrating.

Honestly that's really cool.  Classic radio when it was real.
