A more valuable piece of info is missing. What are the demographics? Who is listening to NW? Surely it can't be teens, 20's 30's and even 40's.  Must be people over 50. For me (50 plus) I have completely lost my interest in NW broadcasts.
Does anyone have the stats on age groups?

A source informs me that the C-FOX book is actually a good one,
when you get into the key male 25-54 demo, so I stand corrected.  "When I"m wrong, I say
I'm wrong",  (the late Jerry Orbach in "Dirty Dancing").  As for AM 730, a work in progress,
yes more people sampled the station, it has very low overhead, but you're reaching
to find much encouraging there.  Sorry, that's a Bruce Hornsby: "It's just the way it is".
NW took a hit, but they also maintained quite well in a number of areas.

Someone clarify THIS mystery then.  QMFM's audience share drops from 368,000 to 352,000 (S4 2005 vs S4 2006) YET their market share rises from 8.8 to 9.4.  How can your audience share rise when (A) the population has grown and (B) their share of the listening pie has shrunk by 16,000?

The number of people within so-called the central area actually decreases from 3,788,100 in S3 2006 to 3,294,200 in S4 2006. (Just add all the numbers in the Ctrl column!!!). The lower in the number of people = the higher in rating. That's why QM can have higher rating even though the audience share decreases.
