Doesn't/didn't? Collin glennon work for the Corus Vancouver cluster? Here's another one: Sean Rosbald (sp?). I remember him doing AM drive on OR Radio in the summer of 1992.

Sean Rosvald (sp?) moved to San Fransisco if my memory serves to be a morning man there. I remember when he encased himself in ice for 24 hours for charity...great PR!

Thanks for the info. I thought he had moved to the States, but NYC rather than SF. I remember hearing him on Bro Jake's show a day or two after 9/11 giving his perspective on the events. I also recall the ice stunt in the fall of '92. He phoned into Tom Lucas' syndicated Goldline show with an update.

Wow....Shawn (Sean) Rosvold did really well for himself.  I worked with his dad Ron in the early seventies and young Rosvold came to work at CHEC 1090 as a real greenhorn.

I just found out about your site from an old radio friend.

I left Penticton for San Francisco after working at CKOR for two years. I got a break when my friend and former employee in Nova Scotia, Darian O'Toole, landed a morning gig at KBGG. She asked me to do news, sidekick, produce the show, etc. We did well in the ratings, but then the brain trust at Clear Channel decided to flip the format to Spanish. So, we were offered a morning gig in our choice of cities, Chicago, Los Angeles or New York. We chose New York and did the morning show at Q 104.3 beginning in 1997. We lasted about 8 months until Darian self destructed. She was fired, I was kept on with the various morning hosts until I was fired in 2001. I went to the dark side, doing PR for a large utility company, KeySpan. I lasted two years there and was downsized. I landed at Sirius in January 2005 where I'm the executive producer of the Jay Thomas Show on Stars channel 102 and Howard 101.

Thanks for asking!
