Couldn't agree more. But: 1. From all accounts he and jaXon Hawks are pretty tight. 2. He's from a CTVGlobeMedia sister station. Be prepared for the end of any innovative programming out of The Beat. NG takes bottom line and a** kissing over creativity. But hey...That's just corporate radio for yah!
The Beat's entire on air image changed the day the station moved into West 2nd... The station is too predictable! The only thing the station has going for it is the music.... That's it!
Which was just after they moved into the building........ The final decision on the sale was not approved until after they were in the building with the three other stations..
Congrats to Curtis, a good choice. Curtis has a great ear for hit radio and is a student of the format he will do a good job. Let the battle of the Beat and 95.3 begin! Should be fun to listen to the changes that will be made by both stations as we head into summer. Having two CHR stations in one market is always a battle for every quarter hour.
