Am I showing my jingoistic bias when I get a little nationalistic pride out of a small thing like this?

My only regular must-see CNN visit is on Sunday mornings, to Howard Kurtz's media-dissecting show 'Reliable Sources.'

Today the first half of the hour featured three guests on a panel discussing the week's media issues.  And two of the three were Canadian journalists born in Toronto: David Frum and Rachel Sklar.

I'm not sure they were any more analytical than US-born participants would have been, but they really shone much brighter than the 3rd member of the panel, handled themselves well, and thus left me feeling pretty smug in my Maple Leaf flag waving.

Bobinedmonton, you really don't see the difference between having a couple of Canadian panel members on a news show and buying drama and comedy in Hollywood?
