Today, like every day, I viewed the Edmonton Journal website to see what is happening.
Yesterday, as well as today, the lead story under the "news" category was a sports story.
The second story was a "news" story about a strike in Edmonton.
The third story was about a house fire in Calgary.
The FOURTH story was about a SHOOTING in Edmonton's inner city.
The fifth story was about house prices in Calgary.
You would THINK that the SHOOTING would be the number one story, with the strike being number two.
But I see that the Journal, like its television counterparts is trying to become irrelevant to Edmonton readers.
And, to add insult to injury, they're outsourcing their printing and laying off staff.
Congratulations Edmonton Journal! I'll give you five years before you're out of business. :o |
