Stop The Cell Phone Squeeze

The Big Three cell phone giants have a plan for Canada:

Squeeze independent providers out of the cell phone market.

Squeeze more money out of your wallet every month through new fees on your bill.

Squeeze Canadians into tighter, longer-term contracts with disrespectful customer service.

The Big Telecom scheme will cripple innovation, drain your wallet every month, and put Canada even further behind the rest of the world on mobile communications. Canadians already pay some of the highest cell phone fees in the industrialized world, and Big Telecom is trying to make our unfair, expensive situation even worse.1 Let's stand up for affordability and choice, and raise a massive national call to stop this Big Telecom scheme. →

This picture sounds so familiar.
The big boys moving in, buying up all the little stations and newspapers/magazines across the land, then running them all from Central Canada

Simple.  Independence.  Just like the booming masses of new unsigned indie talent that promote their music through  social media, net labels and fan sites giving them the freedom and income to choose their own course without the weight and control of collection leeches.  Same thing can apply to radio ...go internet.  No towers, no regulatory red tape and a level playing field for all.    Just saying.
