to Afternoon Drive

The Jeff Woods Show begins August 20, 2012 at 3 p.m. MT

(Calgary, Canada) Q107 Calgary is proud to announce that Canada’s preeminent voice of classic rock, well-known journalist and seasoned radio personality, Jeff Woods, will be the afternoon drive host starting on August 20, 2012.

The Jeff Woods Show will air weekdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and feature Woods at his best, sharing stories and personal anecdotes from a long and successful broadcast career focused on the classic rock genre and the artists that defined an era.

“Jeff Woods is synonymous with classic rock and we are excited to have him join the Q107 on-air team,” said Garry McKenzie, General Manager, Corus Radio Western Canada. “Our Calgary listeners will now have access to in-depth, classic rock content and perspective with Jeff Woods five days a week.”

“I’m thrilled to once again make Calgary my permanent residence and take the mic as afternoon drive host on Q107,” said Jeff Woods. “Calgary has a dedicated fan base of classic rock music listeners and I’m excited to share with them the stories on the artists that make the music on a daily basis.”
