SEATTLE -- Herb Weisbaum—the ConsumerMan--has been “Looking-out For You” for more than 30 years. Now, he’ll host a live, local Consumer talk radio show every weekday afternoon on Smart Talk 570 KVI.
Beginning Monday, June 18th, ConsumerMan Herb Weisbaum moves from KOMO Newsradio to host his brand new show on AM 570 KVI and KVI.com, weekdays 3 to 6 p.m.
Herb Weisbaum will alert listeners to scams and solutions, good deals and bad. He’ll guide them through steps to protect their credit and privacy, ways to manage debt and tips to make informed choices on purchases. Weisbaum will also serve as a resource listeners can call to ask questions about financial, legal or homeowner needs.
His daily Consumer Tips and Consumer Notebook air on KOMO Newsradio; he appears weekday afternoons with Consumer News on KOMO 4 TV; Herb also writes regular columns for MSNBC.com. Herb will continue all of these features.
“I am so excited to have a program where I can make a difference and help people every day,” says Weisbaum. He adds, “This is a show for everyone! We all have bills, things we want to buy, assets we want to protect, dreams of travel, hopes for retirement, health questions and we all see ads, wondering if the product lives up to the claims. I’m here to help!”
