Nice comfy jump for the Q!
I'd say all those bus billboards for KOOL are paying off. Will be interesting to see if the Xmas format the Ocean flipped to today will have any rewards come next diary. They need something. The Zone is doing incredibly well, almost neck and neck with the Ocean. Then there's Jack. Just checking, I see it was September 6th, Tarzan Dan started mornings. Something should have clicked by now!

I remember when Nick Frost first launched 'Silk' FM. He was working on the plan back in 1978 when I was working for him at CHIM-FM Kelowna. Always admired his focus on what sound he wanted his station to have. I'm sure he's proud of what it's become although I believe he was bought out a few years back.

Sounds like the OCEAN and Jack are in big trouble. I wonder which one will go first... My guess is Jack. Too many format changes, no local morining guy, etc. But if the Ocean numbers do not pick up then they maybe next in a couple of years.
