exhaustive seattle radio history

              (KYAC "Soul Radio"
                   playlist from the mid-'60's)

We've been watching grow for some time now. Editor/researcher Jason Remington has spent many, many hours at the library and on the google to present the most complete historical and up-to-date compendium of Seattle/Tacoma radio in existence.

If you're wonkie for this stuff as we are, you're in luck. There's an exhaustive and growing list of Where Are They Nows? with updates of radio folk who are or have ever worked in local radio, with pictures and obituaries when applicable. Plenty of audio, playlists, and radio tidbits from the local dial that date back even before the much-heralded golden era of the 60's & '70's rock stations.

There are newspaper glimpses of Seattle radio schedules from 1922-1955.

Hear old time radio shows like The Inner Sanctum, and The Great Gildersleeve here
